Six Hundred Degrees

OUR CULTURE

Our mission is to craft an unparalleled experience for our guests - one that combines the enjoyment of locally sourced goods prepared over a wood fire with Winston-Salem’s finest hospitality.

WHO WE ARE

Fire & Food Bring People Together. The heart of Six Hundred is our wood burning hearth. We pride ourselves on showcasing locally sourced food, staff and atmosphere. We understand our regional foodshed and the hard work that local farms put into their craft. The chef-driven menu is designed to reflect the creativity and effort centered around the roots of southern cooking. Whether it is our dynamic small plates, extensive wine list, or amazing Sunday brunch on our large patio, Six Hundred° will always be something worth experiencing. We are a Bailey Park neighborhood restaurant that is as much a place for locals as it is for people taking their first bite out of downtown Winston Salem.

WHERE FIRE & FOOD BRING PEOPLE TOGETHER
SOCIAL ROOM & BAR IN DOWNTOWN WINSTON-SALEM

LIVE FIRE GRILL
CHEF-DRIVEN MENU

Six hundred degrees Celsius is the temperature at which gas evaporates from wood in a bonfire to produce embers. We choose to cook over oak & hickory coals, paying homage to our historic local food culture. Above all, fire brings people together. Travis Myers, our Head Chef, is dedicated to regional cooking and celebrate quality products made by local hard-working hands. We are a restaurant that is rooted in southern soul.

EAT LOCAL

We pride ourselves on our staff, including the hard-working farmers who grow our produce, raise our protein, provide our wood, and craft our artisanal ingredients. Our goal is to preserve traditions from our local foodshed and showcase the people who raise, grow, and produce them. We celebrate quality products made by hard-working local hands.

DRINK LOCAL

At Six Hundred° Social Room & Bar, local and hand-crafted spirits are front and center. It helps that we are part of a town full of amazing breweries and close to the vineyards of the Yadkin Valley! We've curated a thoughtful wine list, with exclusive varieties by the glass and options from your favorite local wineries.

LOCATED IN BAILEY PARK

With exclusive views of Bailey Park, our dining room features two working bars, huge open windows, original board-formed concrete walls from RJR power station, decades old industrial pictographs, locally constructed Sunny Side Millworks artisanal mill work, and a Viator-designed floor to ceiling hot-rolled steel fireplace.
